RIIB celebrates the intersection of Nigerian craftsmanship, Islamic values, and contemporary style. Every piece tells a story of dignity, cultural pride, and purposeful design.
These aren't limitations—they're empowering design principles that celebrate modest fashion as a conscious choice. RIIB represents the modern Muslim woman who refuses to compromise between her values and her style aspirations.
"Modesty is a choice, not a compromise"
Every piece honors the wearer's values while celebrating her individual beauty, confidence, and self-expression through thoughtful design.
Contemporary designs that reflect global fashion trends while respecting traditional aesthetics and celebrating Nigerian heritage.
Thoughtful coverage that empowers women to express themselves authentically while maintaining Islamic values and cultural respect.
Our Founder's Journey
RIIB was founded in 2020 by Rashidat Ibrahim, a Nigerian fashion designer who experienced firsthand the challenge of finding modest clothing that didn't compromise on style or quality. Growing up in Ibadan, she witnessed the incredible craftsmanship of local artisans but saw limited opportunities for them to showcase their talents in the modest fashion space.
"I wanted to create a brand that celebrated both my faith and my Nigerian heritage," Rashidat shares. "RIIB represents the intersection of these two beautiful aspects of my identity—where traditional values meet contemporary design."
What started as a small collection of handcrafted abayas has grown into a movement celebrating modest fashion as sophisticated self-expression. Today, RIIB works with over 30 skilled Nigerian artisans, preserving traditional techniques while creating pieces that resonate with modern Muslim women worldwide.
